Chinese Online Payment Systems – Douyin to create its own payment system

Douyin, the “China only” Tik Tok version, has launched a mobile payment system, called Douyin Pay, that will most probably compete fiercely with its counterpart Wechat Pay and Ali Pay.

ByteDance , the company owner of Douyin and Tik Tok, has entered e-commerce in China as Douyin users can purchase items by clicking on short videos that directs link them to a sales page for that item.
